Lexi and I were fortunate enough this past week to go and visit my parents (Lala and Maude) in Scottsdale. It was the first time that Alexis got to meet her Uncle Eric and Aunt Amy and their two kids. Jerilyn also came down for a couple nights to meet Alexis (no one really cares about seeing me, it's all about the baby). The first night we arrived we went to Eric's oldest daughter Olivia's dance recital. She performed both a Hip Hop and Tap dance. It was so exciting. She was also surprised to receive the Outstanding Student of the Year award for her dance school. Who knows, maybe one day we'll see her on Broadway. Enjoy the pictures from our fun vacation.
Look at my little girl sitting up. She is getting so big.
Olivia loves to help cook dinner. Here she is helping Lala pound the chicken with a mallet. What a glamorous job!
This is Eric's little girl London. She is almost 7 months old and is so adorable. I think she looks a lot like Eric, although her cute chin has Amy written all over it.
I was anxious to get Lexi and London together and compare their sizes. As you can see, they are just about the exact same size, even though London is 2 months older than Lexi. Maybe we should stop giving Lexi steak and potatoes for dinner.
Olivia was so good with Lexi. She even got her giggling! Good work Livy!
We took the kids swimming but it seemed that London was more interested in Lexi's hat than anything else. "Hey mom, Can I get one of those? Nevermind, I'll just steal hers."
We put Lexi and London in their car seats and plopped them in front of the TV to watch Baby Einstein. They were both mesmerized. I wonder if the Baby Einstein company is sending subliminal messages because kids sure seem to like to watch their shows. Maybe their brain washing our children. Hey, if it keeps them entertained so that us mothers can take a shower it's fine by me.

Brittany, I loved it. How about updating mine? Use all of the same pictures just change the wording as if you are me. Good idea? Mom
These pics are so cute. Love those darling babies. Lexi is just gorgeous! Hope you can come out for Brynda's wedding so we can see you again soon.
I wish we all lived in the same neighborhood so we could all play everyday! I'd settle for the same town...or even state...man, we need a reunion...ranch style! I am jealous that you guys could get your cute babies together...and that you have girls...and that they are so sweet...and about Amy's cover thing...WHERE IS THAT FROM?!??!?!
Bee - you're little family is so cute. Lexi is adorable! I wish you were closer! Love ya!
