Jackson Jeffrey Schramm was born on Monday, February 15th at 2:36 pm. He weighed 9 lbs even and was 21.5" long. I went in at 7 am to be induced and things progressed very quickly. The delivery went pretty well except that it took a while to get my pain managed so I was seriously uncomfortable (I admire all the women that can do childbirth naturally because it's freakin' painful). We left the hospital about 24 hours after he was born and have been adjusting to life at home. Unfortunately I've been suffering from postpartum depression, but seem to be pulling out of it thanks to the support of my husband, mom, and a wonderful psychiatrist. I'm so grateful to have a healthy beautiful boy and can't wait to watch his personality develop. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers on my behalf. I'll try to keep the pictures coming.

Brittany-
He is the most gorgeous baby ever. I wish so badly that I could hold him, and I never feel that way about babies. I LOVE his name, too... if we had had another boy, we would have named him Jackson.
Nice job. Good luck with everything... you are always in our prayers! We love you and that family of yours!

He is gorgeous! Congrats. Glad everything went well, and you didn't have to have him naturally, although it sounds like you almost did!:) Hope your PPD will get better, that's THE worst. Hang in there!
So... I just realized I hadn't posted on here how adorable Jackson is. Alexis is so cute she was so excited to show the pictures of little Jackson at preschool, I bet she is the best big sister.
