Vacation Time

Jeff, Lexi, and I went to visit Lala and Maude in Arizona last week. Jeff has two weeks off of school and so we decided to ditch the heat and humidity and head somewhere that was, well, hot and dry. We had lot's of fun playing with the grandparents, plus my cousin Sonna was there with her husband and 6 month old daughter Ruthy. We were sad to go but are looking forward to moving there in a few years.

Lexi got to play with her second cousin Ruthy. They're about a month apart, but Lexi is about twice Ruthy's size.

Taking a bath in Lala's gigantic sink. She was a little messy after the beater incident shown below.

Lala thought it would be funny to give Lexi a beater to suck on. She was definitly a fan. Lala also gave Lexi her first taste of steak. I gotta keep an eye on those two.

Catching some rays in Lala and Maude's pool.

Baby Ruth and me. She is such a cuddler.

My cute cousin Sonna

Livy and Lala cooking in the kitchen

London wanted to join in the fun too.

Look at this huge frog I caught. I think the land I found it on must have radioactive waste on it because that frog was like a mutant. Jeff wasn't a fan and Lexi was asleep when I brought it home so i just let it go in the backyard.

Summer Photos

I have all these random pictures of Lexi and the family that I wanted to share. She's getting so big! I'm thinking that she should be crawling by the end of this week. She's really good at going backward, but hasn't gotten the forward moving down yet. I'm going to be spending this week baby-proofing the apartment, which reminds me...WE MOVED! I don't have to climb four flights of stairs anymore! We got an apartment in the same complex but on the bottom floor and it's wonderful. It's also great because we don't have to worry as much about lightning and tornados. Enjoy the pictures!

Congratulations Josh and Joni!!!

Jeff's sister Joni gave birth to twins Jacob and Spencer last week. If anyone can handle raising twins it's Joni. Congratulations to the happy family (don't ask me which one is which).
